England, France & Spain v Portugal on in last 16

England's match against Mexico is one of four World Cup last-16 games that will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with all eight matches being covered across .

The Three Lions set up the meeting with the tournament co-hosts by edging past DR Congo 2-1 in the last 32.

They will meet at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City (Monday, 6 July, 01:00 BST).

The BBC will also show France v Paraguay on Saturday (22:00), with La Albirroja eliminating Germany on penalties in the previous round and going in search of another scalp against the 2022 World Cup winners.

European champions Spain will face either Iberian rivals Portugal in Dallas on Monday 6 July (20:00), and that one will also be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

You can also co-hosts United States against Belgium, as Mauricio Pochettino's side aim to continue a historic run in the competition (Tuesday, 7 July, 01:00).

The remaining four last-16 ties will be shown on ITV.
